In the fast-paced world of live production, having the right graphics playout tool is essential for any savvy broadcaster. From graphics packet import and asset repurposing to in-place image editing and a user interface designed for speed, Grafster ensures efficiency and creativity. It seamlessly interfaces with live sources such as databases, RSS feeds, and IP socket connections, along with other external equipment, creating a sophisticated choreography for complex graphics playout.
Equipped with a built-in playout engine for graphics sequences, clips and movies, as well as PIP (Picture in picture) inputs processing, Grafster offers a broadcast font rasterizer with interlacing-aware anti-aliasing for text fields and crawls. It supports database connections, OSC and CII interfaces, SDI/O, and NDI up to 4K resolution, active video bypass, multiple GPIs, and Intelligent Interface automation protocol. Grafster can be utilized both upstream and downstream of a vision mixer. The imported graphics can be seamlessly edited using the handy Restyle module, which eliminates the need for external software for basic operations such as cropping, resizing, painting, deleting, repositioning, and color correction. The final result can be exported as a movie file for post-production or approval.

Grafster offers exceptional text capabilities, including
both static and dynamic fields, text elements seamlessly integrated with graphics, tickers, and multiple independent crawls. Its superior quality is achieved through 256 levels of sub-sampling and 256 steps of anti-aliasing, ensuring smooth and precise text rendering.
Additionally, Grafster supports Unicode text feeds, enabling flawless international compatibility with complex-text languages such as Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Cyrillic, Arabic, Hebrew, Thai, and more. Its advanced text rendering technology guarantees high-quality and accurate display across various linguistic scripts.


RSS feeds, OLE databases, Analog and Digital clocks, Up and Down Counters, SMS messages, weather feeds or instant weather info are just some examples of data feeds. Grafster can do it all!
Grafster allows external control from any network-connected computer through the included Intelligent Interface Client application. Additionally, it supports GPI over OSC protocol, requiring either the GPI Server option or the Bitfocus Companion application for seamless integration and precise control.
Grafster features an uncompressed 4:4:4:4 component architecture, ensuring exceptional video quality. Its frame buffer remains unconverted throughout processing, right up to the final blending stage
Additionally, it offers sub-sampling down to 1/256 of a pixel for text and graphics in crawl tickers, enabling remarkably smooth crawls at any speed
All graphics and clips are played back using Black Magic Decklink cards or NDI streams. Depending on the hardware platform, Grafster provides a 10-bit linear internal downstream keyer or Video and Key outputs, allowing for seamless direct feed to the switcher
Other hardware platforms such as Deltacast, Bluefish444, compatible with previous version of LogoMaster, can be added on request
Intelligent bypass relay optional hardware can pass the HD-SDI signal to output in case of abnormal operation detected by its watch-dog module or, if operator needs to do maintenance.
