It is assumed that the raw images will come on a CD, or can be read from the local storage (hard drive or network) in any standard format such as TIFF, TGA, JPEG, BMP, Chyron RGBA messages, Chyron Imagestor Still Store messages, suitable to multiple processing.
The program includes the same very fast and efficient, broadcast oriented tools for the batch-processing, as well as for the manual processing of each individual image.

Based on the workflow requirements, as required by a couple of major users in this field, the application suite is using the power and speed of its batch processing for:

• Browse folders for raw images and preview graphics formats as Targa, TIFF, Bitmap, JPEG, RGBA, CHY, Chyron RGBA messages or Chyron Imagestor graphics (.9999 files)
• Color correction for individual headshots – available if needed

2D transformation including
◦2-D image rotation, for correct eye alignment
◦Resizing, for matching head sizes
◦Translation, for individual centering and positioning of headshots within a predefined structure
Head selection using edge detection, object recognition and multi-chroma keying.

The selection is then inverted to generate the background mask
CUT the background and create full RGBA images (with the Alpha channel already built in). Unlike other programs, the headshots will be full broadcast images with a fully antialised contour and  will not require any further conversion
CROP to an optimum size and eliminate unwanted edges

Post-process the headshot to optionally add a background, a foreground (e.g. a frame) and a shadow
RESIZE to a predefined dimension.
Create additional series of different sizes for the entire set of images
Optionally, the images in different sizes of the same headshot can be generated automatically in the final stage.

At any time, the operator will have the option to use manual processing to extract last minute headshots, with wispy, intricate, or undefinable edges, from color-rich images (i.e.: an individual in a crowd, a football player in the field, a skater over a background of flowers, a speaker on a podium, etc).
