Multichannel Ingest Server, able to record from live video in Apple(tm) PRO Res, Avid’s DnX HD, DVCPRO HD, XDCAM. Crash record or automated ingest can happen simultaneously if enough resources are available. With database management, iStore Ingest is the perfect companion to iStore Pro.
Records video/audio in broadcast formats from up to 8 HD-SDI inputs (with time code and up to 16 sound channels for each video channel). i-Store Ingest is able to directly record media from SDI in most popular broadcast formats, or to use broadcast media files already in the local network as its source content, annotate this content according to the Dublin Core standard set of metadata topics, and can ingest the annotated media in the i-Store Pro, as soon as the recording is complete, or based on a time schedule.
i-Store Ingest is available as up to 8 24-bit video recording channels. The system can simultaneously record video/audio in broadcast formats in each channel, with the possibility to schedule a multi-channel sync-recording, as required by multi-camera events.
Each channel in i-Store Ingest is able to perform one i-Store Pro export to database operation per video channel, no matter if the channel is recording or not. Each export can be individually controlled as transfer speed (Mbps) for the essence media file. Exports can be also time-tabled, but, given the fact that they should all succeed - yet they could be transfer speed-restricted, the exports could be automatically deferred, but performed according to the first come, first served policy.
Records video/audio in broadcast formats from up to 8 HD-SDI inputs
The standard license includes operation for 2 Channels. Additional channels are optional
Facilitates the ingest (manually and automatically) in iStore PRO database
-iStore PRO and iStore INGEST are integrated and share the same database and settings pool
Can ingest the same video simultaneously in two folders (option)
Records HD SDI video signals and encodes them in real time in broadcast formats, such as:
Massive computing power is required if complex formats are selected for multichannel ingest. Complex server operation can be done using server computers and multiinput Decklink boards.
Ex: 2 x Xeon 2690 V4, 32GB RAM, Decklink Quad 2 can ingest 8 channels in ProRes or DNxHD. 1 x Xeon 2660 V4, 16GB RAM, Decklink Quad 2 can ingest 4 channels ProRes plus 2 channels playout (32bpp)
