Strategy Settings

• UNIQUE! Intelligent Auto Corrections - Different wizards are available to continuously assist the operator rejecting or correcting on the fly any non-consistent value for time codes, caused by a human or hardware error such as drop-outs, communication loss, etc.
• UNIQUE! Two subtitling strategies are possible to adapt to less powerful computers. Automatic operation works with No Time Code loss, even on old machines
• UNIQUE! Programmable subtitling speed can be adjusted to readers' speed. Minimum and maximum reading speed must be specified

Time Code Regeneration

Script Command Language

UNIQUE! Powerful script command language allows:

• Independent positioning for each subtitle, logo or static text anywhere on the screen, for each individual subtitling
• Total control over the attributes of individual words, phrases, part of the same subtitling message: each subtitle (replica) can have its own attributes (color, font, size, etc.), other then the default values of each individual subtitling
• Separate independent timing control for logos and the static text
• Very complex subtitling with different style for each character is possible

Intelligent "Import/Export" files

• The operator can now import/export files in various formats such as RTF or EBU
• A new and unique addition to this feature is that the import/export can be done through a "Translation table" or a set of pre-determined or user-created "Filters"
• "Embedding" Script Commands or Time Codes in the ASCII text makes the Off-line Subtitling preparation and Time Code Insertion more versatile

The Translation tables and the "Embedding" are important tools in defining the dialog elements, associating advertising texts and/or logos with particular timing or texts, outsourcing the translation jobs, thus making the operator and the translator's job much easier.

Backgrounds

For better and easier to read subtitles, the subtitle message can be displayed on different backgrounds

• live video - no background - the characters are keyed onto the video signal
• background boxes of adjustable sizes surrounding the subtitle message

Powerful "Modify" window

• Delete a selection (a group of replicas or subtitles)
• Clear text from the selection
• Clear time codes from the selection
• Clear script from the selection
• Insert script commands such as: "display/hide logo", "change justification to", etc.
• Find / Replace text
• Filter the selection
• Clean unwanted spaces from the selection's text
• "Ripple" the Time Codes - adding or subtracting a number of frames to a selection (or all) Time Codes, part of a certain project. One of the applications is when the operator wishes to make the Time Code start from a desired value.

Extended "Print" command

Gives the operator the choice to either:

• print the entire project: subtitling text, time codes, script commands, announcements, description of logos and description of fonts, or:
• one or more individual assets, part of a particular project such as: text only, logos and/or announcements only, etc.
